Breathe in , Breathe out

Hello! I feel like it has been forever. And it has.
I have been working my normal 8-5 at the family business, working on a new business venture and it's hay season on the farm. Can you say hectic?!

I feel like in the mad rush, I have forgotten to breathe. I feel like moments of panic creep in again. I hate panic attacks. I haven't had one in forever but here recently I feel like they are constantly in the background.

I just need to remember to take deep breaths.

Kinda hard when you do not have a spare minute.

Also, We are really aggressively paying off all of our debts and falling Dave Ramsey's plan. With that your bank account hits "0" every month. That is terrifying. I let it hit 0 one time and panicked. It's supposed to hit 0 again next week after I pay the house. Actually, I do not plan on letting it do that again. I am supposed to next week, but that I cheated and paid everything early with the intent of not letting it hit 0.

Oh and my hubs is picking fights, because you know it's Friday and that is what he does.

I need a drink.

Friday Letters

Photobucket

I am linking up with the gorgeous Ashley at The Sweet Season for Friday Letters. Go say hello to her and congratulate her on her new baby bump!

Dear Valentine's Day, You kinda rocked this year. 5 years ago on Valentine's day Chris proposed. I still need to tell that story. Maybe next week. This year he wrote me a letter about how that one moment changed our lives forever.

Then we get to this morning...

Dear Hubs, Yep, it's Friday. Wanna know how I know? Every other weekend you have the weekend off. Every other Friday you pick a fight. Why? Do you realize we get 4 days a month together? Why do you try to make them miserable?

Yeah we aren't the perfect couple.

Dear Barn, I will be seeing lots of you Saturday (see above). I little pony time will be good for me. Plus, this Saturday is the awards banquet. I am excited to get my drink on see all of my horse friends from other barns.

Dad and I at banquet a few years ago.

Dear you,  If you are new here, welcome! I hope you have a great weekend and I will see you Monday!

Rain, Rain Go Away!

It has been raining for four days in the lovely state of Georgia. Four days!

My whole world is soggy. Does anyone else think that the word soggy is an odd word?

Any who, with the wet conditions there have been no photos and as you can imagine no fun activities. It has seriously thrown me into a rut. Not just a blogging rut but a life rut.

My poor horse has not been outside in four days. He reared at me Monday. Lovely. Sorry, Casper, we have at least two more days of this crap.

I have to beg my dogs to go outside. Do you know how embarrassing it is to stand outside in my pajamas begging, " Please go potty, pleeeeaaaase." My neighbors probably think I am pretty pathetic and I can promise you my dogs think they have the upper hand here. And maybe they do.

My garage is flooding and smells lovely. I just kinda hold my breath when I walk to the car. I cannot wait until the rain stops so I can use the shopvac and clean up that mess.

I am sorry I have been slacking here the past couple of days, but now you know why. I am basically having to swim to work and back!

I promise to be in a better mood tomorrow.

It Ain't all Peaches and Cream ...

I have heard a lot of you ladies complaining about how a lot of bloggers have seemingly perfect lives and are afraid to get real. I hear ya. Loud and clear. It's ridiculous. Today hubs and I had an argument and I kept thinking well this is ruining my blog mojo. No happy here. Well that's crap. If you don't want to hear a vent turn me off right now, but if you like real stick with me a minute.

That's what I would LOVE to say to the butthead, but instead it comes out $$%@! Why are you so mean?! And $%@%$@ Stubborn?! I can't stand you today! $#$#!#$#$#!$#%$%$^&*&!!!!!! And then I cry. I hate crying. It makes my head hurt, it makes me snotty (sexy, huh?) and it makes me not wanna eat. It does make my eyes greener. Like Scarlett O'hara emerald green and I love that fiery southern belle. My ex used to make me angry just to see them change colors. I digress.
A woman who knows all about sass and class.

Any who, the argument tonight was about work. I sent him on a particularly hard assignment. I knew it was going to be a pain but I got all the info I could possibly get to make it easier. I spent an extra 30 minutes setting it up, collecting clues and calling around. I was ready to pull my hair out. By the time I felt confident that I had made it as easy as it was going to be, it was hubs turn. I sent him to downtown Atlanta in rush hour traffic to get a car out of a parking deck. He loves me. Well, as it happens the customer lied. Everything was more difficult. Hubs drove to Atlanta for nothing.

I texted him to see what he wanted for dinner and got " Don't talk to me." REALLY? I have dealt with pissy people all day, and just wanted snuggle time with him and he is mad? He got in the car and made one snappy comment and I lost it. Like yelling, driving like a maniac professional Nascar driver, lost it. We got home and he realized that he should leave me alone. So he sent my puppy out to greet me. Riley and I sat in the yard (sans leash! And he was good!) and drank a wine cooler before we went in.

Hubs made me dinner and we are okay now, but I think it's important to remember it is okay to argue! If you never have an argument someone's feelings aren't being heard. It's normal to not have a perfect life. It ain't all peaches and cream.

Ps- Sorry to all the people on 400 who saw a lot of this....

I was having a moment. That is allowed!
